FWW MINIROOS

YOUR JOURNEY STARTS WITH A MINIROOS KICK-OFF PROGRAM!
The MiniRoos Player Pathway has been created to identify the standard process a participant would follow as they transition through the existing products under the MiniRoos banner. It also works to help identify the proper product for a participant that is dependent on age, ability and overall engagement in football.

MiniRoos Kick-Off is an introductory program designed for beginning and developing players who are new to the game. MiniRoos Kick-Off programs can run all year round where the coach will facilitate modified games and activities to spark the love of football!

MiniRoos Club Football is the home of Australia’s largest network of grassroots football clubs, who provide opportunities for boys and girls of all abilities aged between 5 and 11 to play small sided games at the weekend.

Your child can sign up to a local club and join a team for the season where they will make life-long friends and have fun.

Clubs provide coaching sessions and set up matches in a relaxed environment where the aim is to teach new skills in an enjoyable way.

The smaller fields, modified rules and fewer players mean a more enjoyable game with more opportunities to touch the ball and more opportunities to score goals, once again increasing the likelihood of an overall positive experience.

As your child progresses through the various age groups they will be introduced to playing environments that most suit their stage of development and prepare them for the transition to 11v11 football when the time comes.

COACHING MINIROOS

Get your MiniRoos Certificate

Coaching kids as an MiniRoos Program Leader is easier than you think. It’s not all about spending hours working on technical drills and tactics. It is simply about putting a smile on the face of kids out on the pitch. You certainly don’t need to be an expert to teach Australian kids how to have fun with a football. MiniRoos is all about keeping kids engaged by playing enjoyable games in a safe environment.

Like most junior sports, football needs volunteers to put their hand up and help out so little ones can have fun. But there are also opportunities for current players to give back to the game and earn some cash by helping out.
