MEET OUR NEW FWW REFEREES BOARD MEMBERS

Football Wagga is very pleased to welcome the three newest members of the FWW Referees Committee. The new FWWRB committee members are Jane Falepau, Bryan Lucas and Shane Delves (new chair of the FWW Referees committee). Each of these volunteers has extensive experience across all facets of the game here in Wagga, and have willingly put their hands up to assist the our Referees Branch for the next two seasons.

Consisting of six members in total; three non-referees and three current senior referees, the FWW Referees Branch committee plays a vital role in building a supportive environment for referees in our local football community.  The FWWRB provide education, mentorship, a sense of belonging and support, while also advocating for referee rights, standards and professionalism. On top of tasks like recruitment, game day appointments and assessing, the FWWRB play a major part in helping our local refeeress grow, both as officials and individuals.

Without referees and a referees committee, there is no football in Wagga Wagga. Our referees deserve the backing of a supportive committee so they can continue the essential role play in our local football community. Welcome Jane, Bryan and Shane, and thanks for putting your hands up to help us improve football in the FWW association.
